Why did he have to hide the girdle?

What is the excellency of Jerusalem?

• The parable of the bottles filled with wine (Jer 13:12-14)

Why is God doing this? (2 Thess 2:11-12)

• Hear ye, and give ear; be not haughty (Jer 13:15-17)

The antidote: Give glory to Jehovah your God.

• Say this to the king and to the queen (Jer 13:18-21)

Calamity from the North (Jer 13:20)

Cities shall be shut, and none shall open (Jer 13:19)

Compare with Isa 22:20-22, and Rev 3:7-8

• What did we do to deserve this? (Jer 13:22-23)

Can the leopard change his spots?

• This is why you deserve this (Jer 13:24-27)

You have forgotten the One who can be trusted, and

You have lent an ear to those who cannot be trusted.
