Psalm 34:15

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open

unto their cry.”

God does not have eyes and ears as we do, God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24. God here is using the eyes as a symbol into His Soul, remember what we read in Luke 11:34-36 “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.” The eyes are a gateway into a man’s soul, so God here uses this symbol as a gateway into His Soul. God hears the cries of His children, He is in control of their lives and is constantly arranging the circumstances that surround a child of God for His glory. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” We may not be aware of the answers that God gives to our cries, but we know that this too is in His divine wisdom. But one thing is for sure, God’s eyes and ears are open unto our cries because He cares for us.
